Peter Durban moved his family from Russia to Akron, Ohio (fleeing the Russian Revolution). He starts his small chain of Durban Meats (supermarkets) as well a regional distribution business.
Read 1920s – 1940s
Peter Durban goes westward and settles into the Los Angeles Market with his kids getting into the business.
Read 1950s – 1960s
The Second and Third Generations of the Durbans and the Eritanos continue in the food business.
Read 1970s – 1980s
The Third Generation (Dennis, Jack and Andy) continue the family business with major corporations and their own businesses.
Read 1990s – 2000s
The Third and Fourth Generations continue as co-founders, equity partners and advisors to well-known brands.
